Forest animal life
Animal territories decrease
Animals in the wild have less space for living.
I saw an article of an extensive study just published in Nature Ecology & Evolution in today’s Helsingin Sanomat daily newspaper.
Animals in the wild have less space for living, and their life is getting more difficult.
Human activity and infrastructure force animals to travel up to twice the distance of food, shelter, or mating partners, for example, compared to their fellow species living in their untouched areas. Animal territories have also declined substantially in many species.

Many animal species also benefit from human activities. Yet, human action has a tremendous impact on wild animals, and their needs should be better taken into account.
