The contest “WHITE WORLD OF THE ARCTIC THROUGH THE PRISM OF A CHILDREN’S BOOK”, held for the first time in Yakutia, is designed to expand the child’s understanding of the vast, cold and snow-covered world around him. Many writers and travelers compare the North and the Arctic to a white sheet of paper on which everyone can write their life story or imagine their world of permafrost and ice, as the key meaning and emotional atmosphere of the North and the Arctic, dictating the strategy of actions set by harsh Nature.
